ReCLASS is a solution developed to allow your drone to meet the new European C6 class, enabling beyond visual line‑of‑sight (BVLOS) flights under STS‑02 scenarios. It allows you to continue operating your drone fully, without unnecessary restrictions.
Compatibility depends on your drone model. Before ordering, you should check compatibility and prerequisites directly on our website. This step ensures that your drone can be reclassified without issue.

The process takes place in five simple steps:
- Online compatibility check.
- Order and registration of your drone.
- Receiving of your ReCLASS upgrade pack.
- Guided installation (instructions and video).
- Verification and sending of your C6 declaration of conformity..
To obtain your C6 declaration of conformity, you will need to provide all the supporting documents requested by ReCLASS after fitting your upgrade to your drone. These documents (photos and forms to be completed) are uploaded to your personal ReCLASS space. Once the submitted material has been reviewed and accepted as complete and compliant, we send you the corresponding declaration in digital form.
The procedure is quick:
- Shipment of the kit: 2–5 working days depending on the chosen delivery method
- Installation: about 15 minutes
- Validation & sending of the declaration of conformity: within 48 hours after verification
Note: When a new compatible model is launched, we sometimes see high demand over a short period. Requests are handled in order of arrival, so the announced lead times may be longer.
Yes. The ReCLASS solution does not require opening your drone. It can return to its original class by following the instructions provided in our tutorials.
Yes. Because we make no intrinsic modifications to your drone and adhere to the original manufacturer’s conditions of use, your drone ramins with its original warranty.
Yes, if your drone allows it originally. To do this, you must follow the downgrade procedure for your drone model, which is provided in our tutorials.
Once your drone is reclassified, the C6 certificate is valid indefinitely for that drone, as long as it remains in the validated original configuration.
If your drone cannot be reclassified, no upgrade pack will be shipped and you will receive a full refund.
Yes. Installation is simple and guided by detailed instructions and an explanatory video dronereclass.com . No specific tools are required.
Yes. The ReCLASS process is designed to comply with European regulations and meet DGAC standards in France. The certificate of conformity provided is official proof in case of inspection.
The price depends on the drone you are upgrading. At launch, for example, the starting price for a Mavic 3 is set under €1000 excluding VAT (€1190 including VAT).
Any hardware or software modification not planned in the ReCLASS procedure may invalidate your certificate. If in doubt, contact our support team.
